Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is a American political advisor who was the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 222. As a member of the Democratic Party, she was previously the White House deputy presses secretary (2009-2011); White House deputy communications director(2009-2011) as well as spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013)-2015 and White House communications director (2015)-2017. Psaki contributed to CNN's political coverage from 2017 until 2020. Psaki started her professional career in 2001 when she worked on the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was then appointed deputy press secretary to John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki was the communications director for Joseph Crowley, a U.S. Representative, as well as the regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 to 2006. Psaki returned in 2012 for political communications, serving as the press secretary of President Obama's 2012 reelection campaign. [20] Psaki was appointed the spokesperson for the United States Department of State. [20] Her hiring at the Department of State fueled speculation that she would succeed White House Press Secretary Jay Carney after he left the White House on May 30th the 30th of May, 2014 it was announced Josh Earnest would replace Carney. The White House welcomed her back to the White House in 2015 as the director of communications. she was there until the closing of the Obama presidency.
